Create Photoshop Glass Text Effect Only 3 Layers

I have seen multiple Photoshop Glass Text Effect Tutorials which is very lengthy and very difficult to understand so today i have make a very easy Glass Effect Tutorial which only based on 3 photoshop layers I hope you like this tutorial plz leave your comments so i can come up with more unique and easy tutorials.

Now So lets start our work.

Step1.

First click on file then new and set the width , height according to the below mentioned image and press ok. Now you have blank white canvas.

 

Step 2.

Now selcect a image which you wanna to use as background image of your Glass Effect i have used windows default but you can use any one which you feel looks better.

 

Step 3.

Now Select the Horizontal Type Tool and select font, font style and font size as in below image.

Step 4.

I have write my blog name "Designdim" but you can write what you want.

Step 5.

when you write "DesignDim" you noticed that another layer automatically comes in the layer panel just Right Click and select "Blending Options".

Step 6.

In these layer style options simply select the "Bevel and Emboss" and set the all values and mentioned in below image.

Now your layer panel looks as below just click Fill Slider 100% to 0%.

After 0% your lmages looks as below.

Step 7.

Now Right Click on your text layer and click "Duplicate Layer".

Step 8.

Right Click on new Text Layer (duplicated) and make text "Rasterize Type".

Step 9.

Press Ctrl+Click on Rasterized Layer thumbnail.

Step 10.

Now Edit menu select Stroke.

You can change the stroke width if you select some different font and color does not matter now Apply Stroke.

 

Step 11.

now simply press delete button from your keyboard.

Step 12.

Right click your Rasterized Layer and select Blending Options.

Select Bevel and Emboss and set all values as below mentioned image.

Last Step.

click on Hightlight Mode List and select "Linear Light".
